Professional Client Relationship

A key ingredient to successful negotiated work is a relationship of professionalism and respect between all members of the team. The client, architect, engineers, and various major contractors work together to provide the best possible project outcome at the best value.

Our goal is always a successful project, a satisfied client and a relationship with our clients that continues through future projects.

Engineering/Estimating

Imperative to a fast-track project is getting all major parties involved as early as possible. When early selections are made, ABcom can work more closely with the architect and consulting engineers.

By assisting with conceptual design input and identifying design priorities as they relate to purchasing, the team can pursue early decisions and acquisitions on long-lead items.

ABcom's skill in estimating and our knowledge of relative economics of different construction methods and materials is utilized to produce the best value and assist in costing alternative design decisions.

Budgets and not-to-exceed prices can be quickly established when the scope can be reasonably defined. ABcom utilizes a computerized estimating system allowing us to estimate the project costs more accurately and continuously update budgets and estimates as scopes and products are further defined.

Construction Management/Control

Our early involvement in the project design process results in a familiarity with the specific concepts and requirements. We can immediately begin scheduling and planning the project installation resulting in:

• Reliable manpower projections
• Identified critical space coordination areas
• Forecasted timing of equipment deliveries

ABcom has developed several innovative project control and management tools that utilize state-of-the art monitoring and reporting systems. Our process of short interval goal monitoring, or "phasing", allows us to:

• Constantly monitor our progress in chronologically segmented phases
• Measure our productivity and identify potential crises immediately
• Schedule material deliveries efficiently

Service/Maintenance

The final ingredient necessary to provide full service to our clients is our MAC (Moves Adds Changes) Department. Our MAC service continues to our clients long after the project has been completed. Adding to our service quality, many of our premier manufacturers back-up their products with warranties of up to 25 years.

Our efficient service, maintenance people and programs are available to:

• Provide any required continuous maintenance services
• Respond to any potential emergency situations
• Assist the owner's staff personnel with training on new equipment and materials
