Customer Description

IHOP restaurants, one of America's favorite restaurant chains, are franchised and operated by Glendale, California based International House of Pancakes, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of IHOP Corp. For 50 years, the IHOP family restaurant chain has served its world famous pancakes and a wide variety of breakfast, lunch and dinner items that are loved by people of all ages.

As of December 31, 2007, there were 1,344 IHOP restaurants located in 49 states, the U.S. Virgin Islands, Canada and Mexico.

Project Summary

ABcom performed the renovations of existing IHOP dining facilities throughout the Phoenix metropolitan area. Technicians installed all voice, data, and point of sale (POS) cable in the dining, kitchen, and office areas. The solution included special grounding, shielded cable, and grounded connectivity to ensure the operation of new POS technology.

ABcom worked during off-hour shifts to ensure no interruption in IHOP’s regular business hours saving the owner’s days of down time and lost revenue.
